Cheaply constructed for the price. Upon receiving the item I decided to button both sides together, only to discover there was no way to clasp the unit back together after unbuttoning it the first time. To my dismay in "unbuttoning" the female button, it literally broke off from the side it was on and transferred to the other side while still remaining lodged into the male button on the other side thus rendering the whole apparatus unusable.
